School is about to start – are you ready?
Sadly, Ms. Johnson is not. The room is still blank, the computer is not set up and the wax on the floor sparkles like sunlight on snow. I wonder how many days it will take to loose it’s fall luster?
Don’t forget that tomorrow is Grizzly Day!

Your narrative essay is due today! I’ve received some good ones already, but I’m really hoping that all will come in. Remember that I do NOT accept late assignments.

Yay! More than likely, you’re not even awake yet!
Sadly, not only have I been awake for hours, but I’m also in class. Yes, I too have a summer assignment, besides grading your narrative papers. I’m taking an AP Literature course (AP 12). So far we’ve done a lot of annotating text. FYI – if you don’t know aht annotating text is, google it.
One thing that has really struck me is the need to for you as the student to really dig into assignments and work out the solutions on your own. In college courses, most of the time, the professor does not provide step by step instructions to complete the assignment for you. This, of course, does NOT means you cannot ask questions or for help from me or that you are all on your own through out the course. What it means is that you have the key to getting the most out of this course (AP 11 or AP 12).
Anyways, enough class talk. I hope you’re enjoying what little sunshine there is and sitting out with your book, a cold drink and a lawn chair!
